In this Discussion, you will explore the role of public andnonprofit managers and leaders as agents of positive social change.

For this Discussion, review this week’s Learning Resources. Payparticular attention to the mission of each organization and the socialissues and/or community problems being addressed. Think about publicor nonprofit organizations with which you are familiar. Consider theorganizations’ missions and the role managers and leaders play in beingagents of social change in addressing social issues and/or problems.

The Assignment must be 1-1.5 pages and include:

1. An explanation of how leaders andmanagers in public or nonprofit organizations can be agents of socialchange.

2. Provide two specific examples of a public leader or manager inpublic or nonprofit organizations whose efforts led to social change.
