Seneca College Adobe Worksheet

Description

Using Adobe, you and your partner will create a web page that identifies the following information:

• You and your partner will imagine a company (you cannot use a real company)
• You will identify what your company will produce and/or sell (not a service) (1 mark)
• You will pick a name for your company (1 mark)
• You will pick a logo (you can choose an existing company’s logo, like Nike’s swish; you just have to identify which company’s logo it is in brackets or at the bottom of your web page) (1 mark)
• You will identify where your company is located, including which city, whether it is a brick-and-mortar store or only online (1 mark)
• You will identify which one of you is the owner and which one of you is the employee (there is no advantage or disadvantage to either ) (1 mark)
• You will identify 3 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that your company seeks to meet/reflect https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustaina… (3 marks)
• With reference to course material only, you will identify 2 specific strategies that your business can use to help avoid litigation, and explain how each of these strategies reduces the likelihood of litigation (4 marks)
• You will imagine a situation in which your business has a dispute with a customer or a supplier. With reference to course material only, you will identify an alternative dispute resolution process that you could use to resolve this dispute. Explain why this process is appropriate for this dispute, and why it is more appealing than the litigation process (3 marks)
• As you are creating a web page, and not simply a Word document, please be creative – add pictures (there are lots of free ones) (5 marks for creativity)

EXAMPLE

• Here is a web page I created for Tina’s Candy Bar:
https://express.adobe.com/page/XvgokSeDgWqit/
• You cannot use the same words/examples that I used in Tina’s Candy Bar or specific examples discussed in class
• Please also note, my Tina’s Candy Bar example does not include how Tina will avoid litigation and why an alternative dispute resolution process is preferrable … if I included that in my example that would give away the answer ??
