Physics 230

You must have passed Physics 220, Physics 222 and Math 227 (2nd semester calculus), all with a grade of C or better. (Note: C- is not a grade of C or better.)This course must be taken concurrently with PHYS 232 (unless you already got C or better for PHYS 232), a separate 1- unit lab class taught by a different instructor, who assigns you a separate grade. PHYS 232 starts to meet during the second week of class. Students not enrolled in lecture will be dropped from the lab by the second week, and vice versa. Every class will be recorded via zoom. Students who are absent from the two zoom meetings without any valid reason in the first two weeks lose the right to remain on the class roll and will be dropped by the instructor.
