For some questions, both choices may seem to fit. In those cases, just ask yourself, “Which one happens more automatically? Which alternative is slightly more comfortable for me?” and pick that option. Add the columns of a’s and b’s to identify your profile.

For more detailed information regarding the results of the Keirsey, check out the profile information located at the top of the Keirsey Web site (https://www.keirsey.com/). All the profiles are listed under the Four Temperaments. Also, Google your profile and see all the amazing information at your fingertips. Include this information in your paper. Use your critical thinking skills to add your thoughts on the relationship between your results and your career.

3. Take the Holland Assessment at: www.roguecc.edu/Counseling/HollandCodes/test.asp Click Submit to get your Holland Code. Print results (right click and print) Place the completed assessment in the Appendix.

What is the Holland Assessment?

Each question is an opportunity for you to describe the kinds of things you as a person can do, might like to do or the action that most fits you. When you have selected all of the choices that describe you, click “submit” to get your Holland Code and determine what career path(s) work best for you.

2. Assignment Use the title “Personality and Interest” for this section. Write a 3-4 page paper about the results of the Keirsey Personality Assessment and the Holland Assessment.

In sentence and paragraph format, answer the following questions for both assessments:

Introductory paragraph:

Personality

• What is your four-letter profile (Keirsey Personality Assessment)?
• In detail, state what the profile means? (Cite your sources if you access other sources)
• Do you agree or disagree with the profile? Why?
• What did you find most interesting about the results?

Interests

• What is your three-letter coding (Holland Assessment) located at the top of the results? Example Your Holland Codes are as follows ERC ECR
• In detail, state what the profile means? There is an additional source in the yellow box at the bottom of the page (O*NET). Cite your sources if you access other sources.
• What were your top three careers? Do you agree or disagree with the profile? Why?
• What did you find most interesting about the results?
