1. What does it mean to cube a number?

1. What does it mean for a number to be a perfect cube? Can any number be considered a perfect cube, why or why not?
2. Identify all perfect cubes.

a. On the number lines on the previous page, box all the perfect cubes from 1 to 100.

b. Above the boxed perfect cubes write the number exponentially.
