With so much happening in our educational institutions, it may seem challenging to keep up with the many problems that you will face as an educational leader. It is useful to be able to summarize an issue and categorize its typology to inform your decisions and strategy. Prior to completing this assignment read Bess & Dee (2012) and Chapter 1 in Owen (2012).

Instructions: To complete this assignment, you will need to do the following:

• First, identify a current issue challenging educational organizations. This challenge should be one where you can identify at least three recent occurrences of this issue.
• Second, whether you are currently part of an education administration or this is one of your future goals, use the ProQuest Newspapers database to find three separate instances of a problem that educational organizations faced this past year.
• Third, write a paper that:
  • clearly identifies the problem.
  • summarizes the issue based on the three recent occurrences.
  • describes the primary concern (the main issue).
  • describes any secondary concerns (additional conditions that were present or occurred due to intervention).
  • categorizes the issue as a tame, wicked, or a critical problem for leadership.
  • explains the relevance of the problem’s typology.
  • concludes with an initial suggestion of a leadership response for the given typology.

In addition, your assignment must:

• Be 700 to 1050 words in length, not include title and references pages.
• Use at least three scholarly and/or credible sources to support any claims, assertions, or conclusions.
