Research Paper is due on Friday, July 26, 2019 by 9:00 p.m.

In your 5 page paper (no more than 7 pages), you will do the following:

• Identify a career school and growing program (1 program)
• Describe program
• Describe skills needs and how skills are developed in these programs
• Describe necessary preparation for career after program completion & How technology can aid in career preparation
• Describe salary and career projections
• Conduct short interview with Career and Tech Instructor and/or Administrator (you develop 5 questions to ask–must be pertaining to the context of the course content)
• Include in your paper or you may attach as an appendix.

Paper format should follow this guideline:

• Typed, Double spaced
• APA formatting
• Paper

  • Introduction
    • Definition of Career Ed.
    • Purpose
  • Career Programs based on trends
  • Program of Choice (from your respective institution)
    • Program description
    • Skills learned
    • Overall career preparation and how technology helps in prep
    • Career tends and salary projections
  • Summary
  • Reference page
  • Interview of teacher or administer (should be in same area in which you researched; can be added at the end as an appendix)

A separate power point is not required. You can add a power point if (by chance) you are unable (and you have an official documented excuse) to make the Tuesday virtual meeting to present your work. The brief 2-3 minute overview of your project during the scheduled virtual meeting will serve as your presentation.

You will need 3-5 references, and they should not date beyond 2013
