For this week’s case, please review the attached file named “Salary Comp”.

For this business, Medical A, there is a list of the current Montana sales team. Each employee is named.

Your task is to distribute an average of 3.2% increase in salary. Take the total of all the salaries and increase it by 3.2%. This will give you the money you have to distribute between the 10 employees. I did this every year with my employees. It was hard!!!!

I’d like you to come up with 3 ways to distribute it and be prepared to discuss, or write about, the pros and cons of each.

Additionally, consider different ways to incent employees. How can wages differ and why do businesses chose hourly versus salary? Bonuses etc.? What other things motivate employees?
