TOPIC: Sexuality and religion

Part I: Issue Paper – Comprehensive Outline 

Paper topic Sexuality and religion. Be sure to use high quality sources supporting different sides of the issue you are examining.Draft a comprehensive outline of your proposed paper that includes the following

• A clear title that captures the controversy
• Focused introduction to the topic to be explored perhaps including what will not be explored.
• The basic arguments you will critically evaluate (strengths and weaknesses) for each side
• The research sources you will use to explore each side and how they support your analysis summarizing (not quoting) the main points from the articles you
• Possible social change initiatives that might flow from your research are using.

PART II: PAPER 

Using the “Examining positions” guide (ATTACHED) critically evaluate the arguments pro and con of the topic. The paper should be 8-10 double-spaced pages, (not including Title page and Reference pages) in 12 point Times Roman Font.

You should present empirical evidence from several peer reviewed journal articles, and/or books to highlight strengths and weaknesses of each side of the issue under discussion. 

An “A” paper will have a clear introduction that defines the problem, show strong critical thinking skills when weighing the evidence on each side of the question, will flow well, will use direct quotations very sparingly if at all, and will end with your own logical conclusions that are supported by your paper.It should also include any implications for future research or social change initiatives. It should include at least 6 cited scholarly (peer-reviewed) references and show excellent use of APA style. 

You must also site from text book 3+ times. 

**If you cite an article be sure that you actually read it or at least an abstract.

Information is very organized with   well-constructed paragraphs

 

Sources (20%)

All sources (information and graphics) are   accurately documented in APA format

 

Graduate Level Thinking (20%)

Paper content is extremely well thought out   and at times demonstrates original thinking. Critical analysis of information   is obvious (synthesize, evaluate, analyze).
