Throughout the term you will have learned of multiple techniques for crisis intervention and learned of the roles of various groups, agencies, and departments that actively attempt to intervene for those in emotional crisis. Some of you may even be destined for a career at such entities, as their work is vital to the criminal justice system and social science organizations. Your assignment will be to select one of those organizations and prepare a report that you will present in the form of a video presentation. Suggested information to be covered shall be:

1. Organization’s name.
2. Organization’s structure and size.
3. Their specialty of care / mission.
4. The geographical locations where the organization serves.

Your presentation must cover the following information: 

1. How does the organization incorporate the six-step model into their approach to crisis intervention?
2. In addition to crisis intervention does the organization include a referral or service of crisis counseling? How does this differ from the intervention the organization provides?
3. List and expand on other crisis intervention resources the organization works with within their jurisdiction.
4. What resources does the organization provide for their staff for self-care/debriefing.
5. What legal guidelines does the organization have in place.
